It was such a privilege and delight to be able to return to Romania again this September, having already enjoyed a mission trip there in May. Our team of 5 included Ann & Clive McIntyre (leaders), Marian Bateman, Pamela Holloway and Graeme Turner, all of whom were retracing steps from the previous mission to the areas of Rosiori and Alexandria.
Our 10 day programme was packed full, with outreach to people in many different villages and we were greatly encouraged by the warm welcome we received from everyone. People gathered together in homes and small churches and were hungry for teaching and prayer. Overall, we witnessed 10 salvations. Many were keen to be prayed for and a number of folks reported wonderful healings from the Lord after being prayed for in May.
Going on mission to another country and experiencing a different culture is not always easy. We can very easily get comfortable with the way things are at home. But to take a step of faith and actually “Go” into the world to spread the love of God must be one of the most rewarding things that any individual can do. Our own problems are put into a new perspective as we hear of the struggles that others face. It’s an opportunity to walk closely with God as we focus on Him, and to recognise God working in us and through us as we serve Him. We are spiritually blessed as we witness and minister to the needs of others. We would love to see many more people have this amazing experience of Mission, so please contact Ann & Clive to find out more about future mission opportunities.
As always, whilst on mission, we very much appreciate the prayer cover at home, so thank you for playing a vital part towards the success of this wonderful mission to Romania.
